- Du verwaltest und skalierst Kubernetes-Cluster und koordinierst mit Open-Source-Tools wie Kafka und Cassandra, um Stabilität, Kosten und Leistung in Einklang zu bringen
- Du überwachst und optimierst Datenbanken (MySQL, PostgreSQL), einschließlich Leistungsoptimierung, Backups und Failover-Strategien
- Du evaluierst neue Technologien und Lösungen zur Verbesserung der Leistung, Verfügbarkeit und Skalierbarkeit innerhalb eines Open-Source-Ökosystems
- Du baust eine Cloud-Infrastruktur auf und entwickelst ein effektives Bereitschaftsmodell, um eine Rund-um-die-Uhr-Abdeckung zu gewährleisten
- Du agierst als Eskalationspunkt für kritische Vorfälle und sorgst in enger Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partner:innen oder Kund:innen für eine schnelle Lösung
- Du definierst klare Verantwortlichkeiten und Kommunikationswege für eine schnelle Problemlösung
- Du arbeitest eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams (DevOps, Produktmanagement, Führung) zusammen, um den Betrieb der Plattform auf die Kerngeschäftsziele auszurichten
- Du stellst regelmäßige Updates zu Systemleistung, Projektmeilensteinen und Ressourcenbedarf bereit

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast Führungserfahrung und nachgewiesene Erfolge bei der Leitung oder Koordinierung technischer Teams
- Du verfügst über technisches Fachwissen in Unix/Linux-Administration, Open-Source-Automatisierungstools (z. B. Ansible), Kubernetes und Datenbanken (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Erfahrungen mit Kafka, Cassandra und ähnlichen Technologien sind von Vorteil, insbesondere beim Aufbau einer Cloud-Infrastruktur
- Du besitzt Problemlösungskompetenz und die Fähigkeit, komplexe operative Probleme unter Druck zu diagnostizieren, zu priorisieren und zu lösen
- Du hast Kommunikationsfähigkeit und die Fähigkeit, technische Sachverhalte sowohl technischen als auch nicht-technischen Interessengruppen, einschließlich externen Partner:innen oder Kund:innen, effektiv zu vermitteln

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
