Working Student – UI/UX (f/m/d)
In this role, you will work closely with designers, product marketers, and developers to help localize designs, perform visual quality assurance (QA), and contribute to creating compelling visuals for our App Store and marketing efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, while enhancing your skills in Figma, Adobe CC and other design tools, and gaining practical experience not only in the field of product design, but also marketing whilst working closely with developers.
In this role, you will:
- Localize UI Elements: Connect and adjust text strings in Figma to streamline the localization process, ensuring accurate translation and display of all product components
- Conduct Visual QA: Perform quality assurance checks on design outputs to ensure that UI elements, layouts, and visuals are pixel-perfect, aligned with brand guidelines, and free from inconsistencies
- Assist with Marketing Graphics: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and optimize product visuals, including screenshots, banners, and promotional graphics for the App Store and other digital platforms
- Provide Design Feedback & Support Iteration: Assist designers by reviewing and refining visual elements to meet both product and marketing needs
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with UI/UX design, development, and marketing teams to maintain high design and product quality across all channels

What you will need to succeed:
- Current enrolment in a design, front-end development or related study program
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Figma
- Eye for detail and a passion for design and visual consistency
- Ability to handle localization tasks and manage multiple languages within design files
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience with design QA or marketing design is a plus but not required

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
