Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- You develop new features for our web application that manages PreonLab simulations and analyzes the results
- You review code and providing constructive feedback about the team’s contributions to the codebase(s)
- You ensure the reliability of the application everywhere that it’s deployed
- You maintain our web app through all stages of the product cycle
- You communicate with other teams to improve company effectiveness
- You investigate and understand user needs to optimize the user experience
- You mentor junior developers in less technical areas of software development: design principles and patterns, communication, architectures, etc.

Your Profile
- You have completed your studies in a computing-adjacent field and/or sufficient experience in a related industry
- You have at least 5 years of experience working with web technologies, preferably in an agile(-ish) workflow
- You bring advanced knowledge of and professional experience with Python, Django, Angular, PostgreSQL, Celery to the table
- You possess an understanding that documentation, testing, and a focus on usability are the only way your code will ever be useful
- You optionally, are experienced with Docker, nginx, WebGL (ThreeJS), GitLab CI, C++
- If you apply from outside the german time zone, please note that our meetings happen in german time.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
